Website Visitor Identification
Connecting visitor-identification technology to business websites and CRM systems so anonymous site activity becomes segmented, attributed, and actionable.
The situation.
Most of the traffic on a business website is anonymous. Visitor-identification technology can surface the companies and individuals behind those visits, but that data only matters if it is connected to the CRM and routed to someone who will act on it.
What was missing.
Anonymous traffic becomes actionable when it is identified, segmented by intent and fit, attributed to its source, and routed into the same pipeline as every other lead. The opportunity is the connection layer, not the identification technology itself.
The system.
A system that takes visitor-identification output, enriches it, segments it by territory and intent, pushes it into the CRM as qualified records, and triggers follow-up sequences. The identification technology is a third-party tool. My work is everything that happens after the identification.
The flow.
Visitor data enters as identified records, gets segmented and tagged, becomes a CRM record, moves through qualification and pipeline, and feeds into attribution and reporting.

What I did.
[CONFIRM: ROLE AND SCOPE. Describe what Jacob built connecting the visitor-identification tool to the CRM.]
Results.
The takeaway.
Identified visitors are only as valuable as the speed and relevance of the follow-up. A identified company that sits untouched for a week is no better than an anonymous one.
